Reflection

Index_baldoniJohn Baldoni's article  in Darwin Magazine (06/28/2006) Putting Reflection into Gear
ON LEADERSHIP COMMUNICATION states very accurately  "Reflection is essential for all levels of management, as well as your employees. If it's done correctly, you can harness great potential."

We especially relate to the final section of the article "Interaction makes reflection real"  Where John notes that "reflection can be an active process that you engage in with others."

  • recognizing those that benefit from you and your group's efforts,
  • demonstrate intentions to provide,
  • mostly non-verbal discovery of "How are we doing?"
  • one's own feedback from their daily activities, and
  • a continuous dialogue centered on shared assessments about benefits
